Trying to Fight Back Against the Scammers
Post 1 of 8
A day or so ago, I made an entry to "Beware of Maye Ltd or Maye Ltd2.
After a bad experience with this scammer I took a few steps to make things uncomfortable for them.
No I did not go to Hong Kong and get revenge and I did not get my money back but maybe I did caused them some trouble and maybe it will slow them down before they get their next victim.
My first step was to write Alibaba, I don't know if Alibaba had anything to do with it or not but the Maye Ltd pages are no longer on the Alibaba website.
My second step was to post the warning on this forum.
My third step was to write an email to my Maye Ltd contact and inform him of the BEWARE advisory on this very forum you are on now.
I also told him that he got some of my money but he would eventually pay for his deeds. And he will, if not in this world then certainly in the next.
4th step: I included in my corospondence to Maye Ltd. that I had emailed the Hong Kong police and informed them of my problem The following is an excerpt from my letter to the scammer.
"Take a look at this interesting website that I recently ran across.
http://www.police.gov.hk/hkp-text/english/tcd/intro.htm#CommercialFraud
You will find that on the site, it clearly states that:
"If you find websites which appear to be a scam, please let us know. Click here to e-mail us."
cpu-tcd@police.gov.hk"
My efforts may not amount to much but I have fought back a little.
And I will continue to try to inform people of his business names and phone numbers.
Some of his business info is as follows:
Mr. Paul Hen
Maye Ltd 2
23-45
Monjui Road
Kowloon
Telephone 852 961 72305
Fax 852 961 72768
I also looked back through all the associated emails.as well as notes taken during conversations with this crook etc and noticed that another company name was mentioned and another contact with phone number.
The other info was:
Mr. wyui hgyang of Best Link Electronics Ltd.
Phone 852 2794 1214
Fax 852 5363 2190
I would suggest being very careful dealing with any of these people, companies or phone numbers.
.
I may not be able to get my money back but maybe I can cause this thief enough trouble resetting up his business pages and phone lines that scamming will not be as profitable for him next time.
What do you think?

Same guy trading as T & A Mobile Phones Limited
Mr. hen long
Address: Tower 6, 33 Canton Road Tsim Sha Tsui,, Hong Kong
Zip/Postal Code: 852
Telephone: 852-961-72305
Fax: 852-961-72305
Only takes 5 minutes to knock up another company profile and start again with a few trade leads.that have no factual basis.
It is quite cheap to arrange for an informal visit to any HK address and receive a brief description along with a few phone pics.

it is all a waste of time....if you already are a victim of a stupid * scammer it is to late. And it is useless to inform other traders, whose are your competition, that a company is a scam. Because I don´t see any person who writes a good report about a company where you can make profit because they are egoistic avaricious. They want to make money themselves. So I see no reason to warn other people for scammers. They shall make their own experience. Or is here anybody who would say which company is trustfull and good. NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only see bad reports about companys. WASTE OF TIME ! Your money is already lost and it is in real indifferent if someone lost his money too or not. We are all egoistic ! And the police and alibaba or other person don´t make something. Scamming in internet happens 100000000000000 times on day !!!!!!!!!!!! That is the sad truth ! Internet-trading is a dirty business. You can´t look in eyes each other. Things you don´t have on your hand, put away your fingers !!!!!!! It is a dream and fable that in china electronics, especially handys shall 50% or even more cheaper than in europe or america. Nokia or other manufactuerer are not stupid ! So everbody would buy in asia and the factorys in america and europe from nokia can´t produce more because nobody would buy from there.

Supermark,
Wow, you sound pretty bitter in this post of yours. I would disagree that it is no use to write on these boards about the specific issues that folks have with certain "companies." The truth is that scammers CAN and WILL change their "company" name as soon as they realize that the name has been outed. HOWEVER, I would say that they will keep that name as long as they can and may even come back to it at some point. If there is anything out on this board (or on the internet in general) then the hope is that someone will find it before they get scammed.
We all state that people must do their due dilligence. Well, the first step in that process is to check companies/people out on the internet. So, let's not blast people for posting this information. I think it is good for a couple of reasons. It may save someone ELSE from getting scammed (by doing the initial check) AND it allows the initial victim to feel better (vent) by posting what happened to them.
I'm not saying that this STOPS the scammers in any way, shape or form. I am saying that it at the very least could stop someone else from getting scammed by the scam "company" before they have the chance to change their "name". Who knows, it could be YOU or ME that gets saved by that one person writing of their experience(s).
Just my thoughts.

it is still useless because you already said that these fuckers change their trade-name. And it is useless too because every deal is a new test and risk indifferent what happens in the past. When in the forum stands that some customer received their stuff from a company and all is ok it doesn´t mean that your deal with the same company will successful too. Maybe they will cheat and scamm later. These fuckers accept only T/T (bank transfer) and western union which is both 100% unsafe. I wouldn´t send any money to a chinese or foreign company at first. When nobody would be so stupid and send them money without security and only praying to god that they will send products then the scammers sould have no chance and * alibaba would make no money and they would invent a better and more safer paying method.
And customers shall make their own experience because nobody says in this forum if companys are trustfull and good trade-partners. They held their information to make money themselves. So why inform and warn other from bad companys ? Instead of doing wasting time and speak about fuckers and scammers we should speak about trustfull companys and write about these so that other customer know who is trustfull.
And write to alibaba that their system is a big *. Every small can log in to their page and can say he is a trader with wrong addresses and dates. The value of the gold member status and trustpass profille is and says nothing about a company ! Don´t send money to * chinese companys at first ! They all will scamm you.
