Lately I installed the new Trade Manager, I have edited my profile more than once, and it still shows up with the old info, as much as I try to bring it up to date. This detail has already caused me problems, as it looks like I'm using fake info to scam people. What could be done about this?

Furthermore, it looks like we have to edit our profile in more than one place. Or is this just my impression because the changes aren't registered? If it is the case, could that be simplified?

Let me break the news that this isn't your problem only.

I tried dozens of time to change my mailing address where I wrongly used case as Gpo and wanted to change it to GPO but all the time I failed to get the desired result. Then one day, I  saw it changed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was I happy or surprized????????

Most likely it's a software glitch at Alibaba. I tried a few times, following all the instructions, but it didn't work. As the same happened to you, the software glitch is the most reasonable explanation. Thankfully, Alibaba already corrected the info for me.

Don't we have to wait for at least 24 hours for the change to take effect?

I wonder did I miss any response from prospective buyers every time I try-n-update my profile even with slightst of change needed..........Was it worth waiting

As far as I know, only your trade leads need to be verified and authorized. Changes to your profile seem to be immediate... if everything works properly. In any case, I'm not sure, but can say that even after more than 24 hours the change wasn't effective.
