Quoting from Rahul Gupta:
It is really a nice document. but it misses on one point i.e what if buyer collects the document and later finds out that the goods are broken or perished. What's the action line in that scenario?
That scenario may happen but one of the documents you have to ask for if you are a buyer is an SGS pre-shipment inspection , so in tha case you are sure the shipper sent you the right things and in case they get broken along the way , there is insurance my dear Rahul.
So dont miss out on business, its about taking a few risks and if the wind blows your way, you will be all right. Rgds

I would like to see a list of carriers that acccually handle this D/P trans action.
I know the big guys dont do it..DHL, FEDEX and UPS dont have anything like this..do you really trust your shipments or money for that matter in some micro shipping company?
What kind of a solution is 'OH YEAH, thats what insurance is for"???
That is not the way you conduct a trade, if something is not shipped and recieved in excellent condition..it is not for the insurance company..it is for the shipper to pay and replace.
Who is posting this lame Advise on trade practices?
