What sort of guarantee we get if we sent an advance payment by TT to a supplier. I am concerned because I don't know the supplier and doing the business for the first time....I need someone to advice me on this.

Replying to [kooran]:First of all, you do have some guaranti from the bank from which you are sending the money! I have start the busness my self with China not so long time ago, sure i was reading a lot from the forum on alibaba and all the info has give me some knowlege, but it's didn't give me any safety of my money. All i did is, that i have order from the start the samples (sure, it's wasn't so cheep, but it's was okay with me to take a rick) i had to pay T/T, but i all so have pay it right the way 100% (didn't see the point of the first 30% and then the rest of, have to pay anyway on the end all 100%) There was no problem for me, i have got my goods.......the only problem i have face is a transportation company DHL, cuz goods was so much damage, so now i am trying to get the money back from the DHL (if i can). But the point is, that now i know and thruesting the company in China who i was dealing with. Another way is, to visit the place from where you will make the order. If you make order, lets say for 20 000usd, i guess you don't lose much if you'll take a trip and see for your self who you are dealling with!
Sorry about my english, it's not so strong, but i hope you'll get the point here. Good luck!
