hard working china
Post 1 of 10
I just want to say how hard the chinese work and always willing to look at new designs.

This is not an interrogative sentence -- in other words, not a question. It is an indicative sentence, also known as a declarative sentence. It does not belong in the English Corner -- Professor Carl [em24]

It is synergy as a harmony of work in the symphony of the conductor, the Central Government.

What is synergy? If you take a platoon of soldiers for example, if one soldier aims his rifle at the target, while the others are not ready with their guns, then this group will be weak. It is similar to one arrow by itself is weak, and anyone can break it easily, but if you take ten arrows, it will not be so easy to break.

Same situation with China, or any other country, if there is unity and same focus of objective, the country will be economically strong and successful, but if there is disunity, divisions and internal conflict, the country turns to chaos.

Chinese people, like other Asians; the Japanese and Koreans are team workers, they work together as a team. The opposite is true of American workers in general, they are individualists.

It took a big number of people to build the Great Wall of China then, and it will still take a big number of people to build the industries of China.

I am awed by the advancement of the Chinese product. I have purchased some samples of Electronic product from a Chinese manufacturer in Shenzhen. I took it apart and being an Electronic Engineer, I wanted to look at the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) of this instrument made in China. To my surprise, the technology is advanced, using high end micro chips, that are programmable by high level language, and the PCB is installed with Surface Mounted Devices (SMD).

The South Korean company's Research and Development Manager tried to impress on his President and the others in the company by announcing his innovative work on an existing instrument. I asked them what and where is the improvement, and they told me it was the SMD. This is no innovation as far as I am concern, the circuitry is the same, only the components has different size and are soldered on to the board differently.

China with the hardware and India with the software, together these two giants will take the world. The next generation power shift from Europe and America to India and China.

Hello streetsmart i have not talked to you for some time, i would just like to make a comment on your reply.

"Chinese people, like other Asians; the Japanese and Koreans are team workers, they work together as a team. The opposite is true of American workers in general, they are individualists."

I think you are right, chinese will work as a team within their own company, but i would like to see the chinese people work as a team with other companies in China, to share information and to help with products and business exports.

In China i see little trust between chinese suppliers, sometimes to get a sample sent in China is like getting blood from a stone [em1]

I fully understand the reasons for this but in UK many suppliers would work together and help each other, so i hope suppliers in China can have a open mind when dealing with any chinese suppliers or people like me that are based in China and take each situation as it comes.
