That was a good reply! I'm still waiting for the day when one of these whiners and complainers makes a constructive suggestion, but something tells me that this day won't come. Making a good suggestion requires thought, while whining is something even a baby can do.

for example: www.ebay.com.  each seller earn points by selling and there each buyer can left feedback, but here anybady can buy good status.  Security very good at www.ebay.com ! Why china companies don't use www.paypal.com, because too many scammers and they afraid.

Our country Latvia, no fake internet companies eho sell goods, because security much better. In Chine not good work police, may they don't want . Not china peaple was frauded

You need filter componies by :

1)address

2)telefone

3)city

4)name

5)e-mail

6)bank

7) domain

It very easy to check by domain name: http://centralops.net/co/DomainDossier.aspx I checked some companies and I was amuzing( they all lie) very difficult find here honest companies. I have to go to China to visit companies first. But very expensive go there each time

Here ho wcan see alibaba.com don't verify companies enough, but paypal verify adrdress.

Why some big companies use free e-mail, if they earn millions and they cannot aford own mail. Im not so stupid that beleive them, but here almoust all companies use hotmail and gmail e-mail. Greedy peaple pay twise(better pay more, than left without money!!!!!!!!!!!)

Vitleb,

you seem to have forgotten one thing, Ebay is a retail/auction site, while Alibaba is a B2B site. As long as people like you try to use Alibaba as a kind of Ebay, there will be scammers to rip these people off. As long as people want to buy 500,-USD mobile phones for 140,-USD, there will be frauds who are ready to rip you off. It is just like this, I have heard that dentists earn good money, so I pretend being a dentist to make a few bucks. If it does not work, so what, I will pretend selling iPhones, everybody wants them anyway. The point is, keep the money coming in, no matter how.

The only purpose of Alibaba is to list and show both wholesale buyers and wholesale suppliers. Serious, qualified traders of international trading companies and factories know how to protect their own interests and it is a rather rare case that these people get scammed. Retail buyers, on the other side should stay with Ebay and the normal retail sales channels where customers are protected.

At business, there is no customer protection. The Roman law principle of "cui prodest" works here, that means, if something is your interest, it is your responsibility protecting it. Nobody will do your work, similarly you aren't expected to take others duties. If you go to a court to complain about your being cheated, the first thing asked is, had you done your due diligence? If not even the court will turn you away. If YOU do not care to protect YOUR interests, why should they do that? Not knowing practices or rules is no excuse.

I am having this too long again, but I hope it is clear what I wanted to say.

Your last posts were much more reasonable, but they raised one quite logical question: if you know how to investigate a business contact, why don't you do that? If you are planning on marrying a woman, I guess you would also want to know her for yourself, insteasd of asking some kind of agency to perform a background check on her.

Another detail is that the more services Alibaba offers, the more they'll have to charge. At this time you can be a free (not paying) member and get quite some useful service. What else could you possibly demand without paying one single penny?

There are a few things where I believe Alibaba should improve, but we always have to be reasonable in our demands. For this very same reason, my demands will always consider the legitimate interests of Alibaba and their paying clients. Do your demands comply with this rule?

Now I know, but before I didn't know it.  I think  I can find good company without alibaba.com.  Several products here expensive. I think need go to China and there contact directly with companies but   not by e-mail. It's not serious business. Now I understand. DONT TRUST anybody here without contact in real life. Too many fakes products. I need to see it  not at picture but in  real life and real product.................

No matter where, what, when, why, how you buy, you put yourself into risk if you do not do your due diligence! I hoped you'd grasped it but I see you had not.

The correct conclusion for you is, do not do foreign trade. Go to the supermarket and buy there, that is hopefully not entirely beyond your comprehension.
