Hi, Be very aware trading on Tradekey.com. I have done two deals on that site and both turned out to be scams. They were both Silverkey members. I wanted to purchase Apple iPods. The first company that claimed to have the authentic product was beijing gere century invests company. As soon as they got my money, I never heard back from them. I reported the fraud to Tradekey and they pretty much did nothing. They said I had to do my research as a buyer. I contacted them back and asked what was the point of going through their site if their "Third Party Verification" meant nothing, and they didn't even bother answering. They just gave the scammer company -20 points and as far as I know they are still listed on Tradekey website. The second company that I only did a sample order and they still scammed me and I never heard from them was guilin bingshi electric CO.LTD. Be very aware of trading on TradeKey.

theres still really nothing that you can do apart from being more vigilant and really scrutanising companies, i was told to go to the local police station in china...but these are sometimes * and corrupt authorities at work and if you go there in person you may find more than your cash supply chopped off.

so now here are the steps to be more careful,

use only trustpass and gold members of alibaba.

make sure the t/t payment is to a company name.

try use someone local, i use one of my suppliers to varify number to address etc,

ask for company papers

google the website and business name for any scam reports.

ask to see inside the office and view the webcam and ask to see stock, they will tell you that the stock is down in a wharehouse, make them have the factory take current pictures dated with your name, do this first it will save time...most run at the sound of this.

i havnt done this yet but im sure there is some kind of companies house to check a company.

who is the domain name there is a lot of information there unfortunately they charge a rather lot for some of it... check if the registrar is different to the tech guy registered etc, check the source of the emails, fraudsters may use this if they are mimicking a real company.

ring the office and check the employee you are speaking to is working at that firm.

do not allow them to approach you on msn always approach them.

Hi, Freinds i would like to draw your attention towards alibaba.com. i thought that it was a nice b2b and i would be able to get some benefit out of it. But i was so much dissapointed when i saw that alibaba provided the same buyer information to me as it sends to other premium members.. now imagine how can i make the deal with that buyer ???? :( when i contacted that buyer he said " Stop disturbing me,, everytime a new seller is contacting me ,, alibaba is bull .... !!! "
