First of all,don't waste your time if want to buy Used Rails.You will NEVER find more than let say 1000-2000 mt as a spot shipment.
The most important thing,Romania is a big exporter but work with Turkish mills who pay in cash.The price is not workable for Asian countries. As per your records,the price in FOB for HMS1/2 was 315 US$ today,10 May 2007,and is no chance to decrease.

HMS 1& 2 Are traded mostly in 12000 tonnes, this is small quantity, that is what Iulianap is telling.

The scrap come from collectors and dismantling.For your info,the bigest company here in Constanta is able to ship 3 vessels with scrap / week to Turkey.But only HMS,never Used Rails.

NEVER believe someone who offer Rails origin Romania.Is not real and you will loose your time and money for nothing.

Dear Friend,post a Buy lead and look for Sellers.No one is allowed to make business here on the Forum even is an easy way to do it.

For your info,225 US$ CNF or CIF for Used Rails is not workable for any real supplier.

Talk with your buyer and ask him to think twice  before to offer this target price and to not make you to loose your time and energy for nothing.

Replying to [iulianap]:Hello dear Iuliana..Cant see you for long time..hope everythings fine..in between i met your board as aluck, and wanted to add some notes, perhaps some parties can be intrested in this given notes, and probably this may help lots of them not to waste their times. As a matter of fact Turkey is still the biggest ferrous scrap importer in this world, and all real big suppliers of this world, first and directly delivering to Turkish end mills in CAD contracts based on delivery port inspections. No yearly contracts, no LOI-BCL procedures, nothings liked that worked about!!! But same time we must note that, as big suppliers do, perhaps all small suppliers around turkey delivering Turkish end mills like hardworking ants! in small shipments like 1000MT..2000MT..3000MT like bulk shipments...From lebanon, Algeria...Russia, Georgia...and from any other origins. Frankly, i am sure its too much easy for all parties to fileter what may come real or dream in any kind of trade activity...So for any of commodities we are trading, there is international tradeboards to check about market realities and facts...also dailiy prices, and possible buying prices..or selling prices! they are all clear... But somehow, there is millions running behind the dreams, and there is too many fishmasters around, who is watching this big game... Right now scrap prices are over 300$/MT in Turkish market, but again lots of dreamers (and same times serious (??) parties) fluctating the market with some intresting price ideas!!! the thing we care here, not to waste our times, and not to waste any other's times....For this reason we mostly wellcomed as a "rude"...arrogant" party because of telling the truth to people!... But we all same time know that, any of the scams around, will never show a bad face, but will always try to please, the agents, buyers, and whoever entered the deal....Untill you disclose the buyer......and begin to wait for the possible delivery!... but somehow, only after you disclose your buyer/seller, things become dark...and anythings you follow turn into a dramashow!.. excuses and excuses and excuses... and finaly one of this parties disappear.... but the main question: when if you dont have anything, let say the commodity or money...how you can enter to the market???.. You see, i am not talking about the parties who receive the LC and dont deliver...i am sure most of such party will never entertain on getting the LC, but after disclosing the sources, they all will disappear!... anyway.....we can write lots of things on such matters... But the only thing we need to follow and care must be only the real market scans!
