Quoting from [masina]:
A month ago I received a sheet from "Euro business guide" (internet information center), where with normal letters was said - If you want to update your company information, please fulfill the form and send it back to us. and then with bolded letters "updating is for free". I thought that they already have some minimum information about our company, so as I thought if it is for free, I filled the form and sent them.
Last week I received an invoice for EUR 965.00 and a copy of the form. Checked it carefully and noticed, that with very small letters under the place for signature is written - by signing this order you agree to the terms and conditions specified in our homepage and for ordering information insertion in our webpage for 3 years for EUR 965.00 per year. Of course, I hadn't noticed that before, because it was written in so small letters that normally you don't read it. I wrote them that I would like to cancel the order, because the form was misleading, but they keep writing me that it is not possible to cancel, I have signed it so they cannot be responsible if I have read the full document or not. Have you ever had a situation like this or maybe you know someone who has? Because I do not have such money and I'm really worried about the siuation...
I HAVE THE SAME STORY AND SAME PROBLEM, I SPOKE TO SOME OTHER PEOPLE WHO LIVE THE SAME. THEY SAY THAT THEY HAVE ASKED TO THEIR LAWYERS AND NO PROBLEM WILL BECOME SOONER. I HOPE WE DONT HAVE ANY TROUBLE.

As mij experience in Western Europe, this is a typical European Business when a company tries making money by misleading others. Unfortunately, some well-known companies sometimes do that bad business as well.
