My imports are on a D/A 30 Days sights term. The first 50% for the goods has been paid up. The D/A is for the remaining amount balance of 50%. However about 50% of the goods turn out defective. Are there any recourse for me? I'm sure my supplier will not agree to a 50% discount but I really shouldn't be bearing the cost of the crap they sent over. Any advise? Thanks.

Replying to [Lexean]:Did your importer supply a inspection report for the defective goods. You need something proof the 50% is really Defective or not.

Hi Linda,

We are the importers. We didn't hire an inspection company to check the goods so there isn't any inspection report. Neither did our sourcing agent/supplier provide an inspection report. We do have proof in the form of the many photographs we have taken of the defective goods.

If the seller is responsible for the defective, he should refund you the 50%
