Hi! Why not contact with your customer and to known his idea ?
Usually if customer are sending samples out to a suppliers.
1) they need the counter-sample or price at once.
2) they sending the sample for your study about relative item with your company.
3) they need some more details about this sample.
You can sending a mail to your customer with details.
I think that you should giving all of the details to them ,including
Unit price, packing information. sample time, lead time.
and is it have any requirements on that market.
