I hope I am allowed to post this article to all forums as it is the latest con case I came to know of which happened in Zhengzhou, China.

Weeks ago, I posted a subject on "Help Needed" for search on a Company at Zhengzhou, China. I have received few kind reply from our members but, I never expect such a case from a victim himself.

Due to big business order, he was invited to Zhengzhou, China to
visit the Seller's factory and to sign an agreement. The Seller received him at the airport and without his knowledge, actually kidnapped him. He had to pay a huge sum for his release.

You may think that he is a newbie, then you are wrong. He is already in this business for umpteem years. On business, we are always worry about the payment and authencity of the business owners, how many of us actually think of our own safety?

So, the next time, if you would have to visit a factory or sign an agreement oversea, Think twice and carefully.

if you have to be collected from the airport:
carry a mobile
have contact numbers for people in china
check the factory well
dont go on you own
tell other factories who has picked you up, make sure the seller knows this too.
dont carry lots of cash
dress normal
when the driver picks you up, get them first to call the contact at the factory and hand you the phone so you can talk to them, let them know all is ok.
can text the car reg to a person in china, if they dont see you can contact the police.

I am sure you dont need to do all of them, but some would be a good idea
