There are biggest losers, and among the third countries, the developing nations whose per captial income is less than $1000.00, and those who are still struggling to recover from the previous crisis of 1977, and 2003, and yet to be stable in their GDP and balance sheets.
Those countries with political turmoil, internal struggles, civil wars and dictatorship rule are the handicapped nations bearing the cost of the military in the expense of the nation's need in health care, education, agriculture development, infrastructure and industrialisation.
Generally we are looking at a shift of economical power, military power and political influence from the West to the East. from Western Europe and North America to the Asian continent of China and India. We are entering into a new Era of the human race, where the Ayran race is not considered as superior.

The question you asked is can be answered in different ways.
If you look at the financial system then the biggest loser of all is our system of doing business. since the system we use doesn't incooperate scammers, lazy people and greedy people, since they block the money and stop the money flow in a circle therefore turning it into a downward spiral leaving even less money for everyone to share.
The biggest winner is once again the Human greed and stupidity, since what can human do with millions and billions if all can do is eat 3-5 meals a day. Its just a illusion that we gave in to.
As for the practical way, the biggest loser would be the one who gave in to his greed in the wrong time (copy cats who tried to earn as much as a banker), and the greatest winner once again is greed (Bankers, Politicians, Mobile companies etc.)
In any case this crises was going to happen sooner or later, humanity can turn out to be the winner if the learn from his mistake and rethink the financial system again, if not that all of us have lost to the few who could't resist their greed.
Focusing just on this crisis, the winners are clearly the bankers. Don't be mislead by names like "Federal Reserve". As an American congressman aptly put it, "the Federal Reserve is just as federal as Federal Express".
So if they are the ones who print the money, who control circulation, why isn't there any money in the market? Answer: because they withdrew it. "But why", you might ask, "if they make money (interests) if they loan out money?"
Well, lending money that in reality isn't much more than monopoly money and charging for that is of course good business, but creating a crisis where you can buy about everything on Earth for paper pieces of that monopoly money is even better business.
And that's their dirty and evil plan! What do you think why I insist so much that we have to get rid of money and go back to barter, combined with a money-less value exchange mechanism.
