Quoting from [SS INTERNATIONAL]:
I wondered what type of advertsing have worked for your business approximately how much they costed, who your target, and why you think that particular form of advertising worked for you.
Also if you would like, what hasn't worked, and why it didn't.
I'd be very interested in the comments you make.Hot Topic Recommend

Part 2
Non Electronic Promotion
1. Word of mouth - from the circle of end-users who have been the customers. Rating such as: Customer 's satisfaction, good pre and after-sales service and Customer Relation Management. Some countries place the importance of Customer's testimonies, but some give a list of their customer reference for the new customer or prospects to check on. This may be used by their competitors to spy on them.
2. Printing of brochures - short brochures or flyers in one or two pages phamplet size is for seasonal promotion. There should be a general brochure for the company product and their services. I find this lacking in many companies whose sole focus is on one method of promotion, the Electronic Commerce way.
3. Visitations - Offline face-to-face contacts, appointments and meeting people face-to-face, making visits to the prospects' site has greater impact than sending emails and telephone calling.
4. Physical Demonstration - This is the greatest impact to convince the buyer of the product. Seeing is believing and touching is also believing, so a good demonstration of the product makes sales promotion a big punch.
5. Gifts promotion, discount vouchers, Rewards Points, and quantity discounts are all good promotion gimmicks. Some have lucky draws to win a car, or a luxuary apartment if you spend more than an amount of money.
6. Telemarketing is catching up to be a form of promotion. People can ignore the mailbox, or delete the emails without even opening the contents, but they cannot resist not to answer the phone ringing. Phone marketing is catching up to include sending short messages (SMS) or MMS. It has a great future ahead.
7. Last but not least - Test products. Products are given free to the user to test for a period of time, and if they like it, buy and pay for it, if not, dump it away or return it to the seller. This is more prevalent with software provider.
I am running out of space, next post, I will talk more.
