Hovercrafts
Post 1 of 3

A friend of mine designs hovercrafts, also known as air cushion vehicles, particularly to transport merchandise (produce and more) over lose sand and shallow water.

To me this sounds like an great idea, since it would help gaining access to areas where previously it was (almost) impossible to install any kind of industry or human dwellings.

Question is, how convincing does this idea sound in other people's ears? Would any of you use it to develop so far inaccessible land?

The idea came across few years ago,but the main problem is to find the skirts if not too expensive to custom make in single unit.

The skirts are indeed a little problematic, but nowadays it's much easier to custom manufacture them. Another option is using individual sheets that are tied together.
