Dear member friends,

My real name is Uwe Brunjes, though you might know me as Germex.

That stands for "German-Mexican", as I was born and raised in Germany, but now live in Mexico as a Mexican citizen. Some people know me as a "dog paw" - somebody who can't sit still in one place and has to roam the planet. And that's how I came to Mexico and international business.

So far my main activity is still being a purchasing agent for those customers who don't want to get involved with international business or don't know how to do that. And of course my experience with different languages and cultures helps me a lot here. By the way: some of these people are even afraid of foreigners or "aliens" (as if we were from outer space), but so far I find you to be a quite likable crowd. – Well, what could I say; now I'm part of this crowd!

My future plans (already quite advanced) are buying my own merchandise and selling it in Mexico, using the "direct marketing" approach. Do you know what will be my first line of products? It's… nah, too early to talk about!

In the past I have been a German sergeant (all sergeants are known for being mean!), a computer repair specialist, a trilingual language teacher and translator, a husband, father and grandfather… besides many other long or short-term activities.

My hobbies are mostly related to ecology (in the widest sense) and construction systems, and one day I want to carve the center of a huge coffee table out of a walnut tree stump. It will look like those capitals of Greek temples and be the center of my home. – Anybody crazier than me?

Though my most important "hobby" are grandkids, as you can guess from my avatar. You have no idea how they help me stay young. My oldest grandkid (now 10) even asked me to teach him how to safely(!) climb trees! How could I possibly get old this way?

The most surprising detail for me was how fast I made friends on this forum. Given all those different national, ethnical, cultural, religious and other backgrounds, one might think that this is a madhouse, but as we all know, it's quite the opposite. Congrats to those who created and preserved this environment!

Though I don't want to disregard the great service Alibaba is providing us when it comes to finding business contacts. In fact, not only was I amazed by the number of advertisers, but also by the number of products. The first time I came to Alibaba, I spent a whole day browsing through the listings, drooling because of what I saw. Now I have calmed down a lot, but still enjoy the abundance of business opportunities.

Thanks to Alibaba for giving us this great business tool and for providing us in addition this great forum! Here we are only "virtual people", but hopefully many of us will meet one day face to face. - Ok, that in fact I could imagine being a madhouse, with all those different languages... (Now, where is that darn icon for "laughter"?)

Germex

Dear friends, due to the high number of attempted contacts through Alibaba messenger I can't answer directly anymore. So please forgive me if I deny your request for contact.

Dear Joicy,

Thanks for your nice words! And please say "Hi" to Louis Zhou from a grandpa. Don't forget to explain to him that as soon as we are grandpas we don't care anymore who's child a kid is - all kids are "our" grandkids in our hearts.
