who will do the basic promote working?

Hi every friends , I am a business man main charge foreign trade , our products are LED appliances .Today my boss asking me about how to marketing this year's business and notice me will separate our department in to two .one - sales department , one - market department. The market department main afford some basic working such as prepare the Fair , renew the web ,photo some new products ,etc. And the actual , we really have many hardware works to do , but at present no one wanna do them .
Anyone who would llike ot share your company 's experience with me ? thank you very much
