We own a tested and locally popular clothing label (trademarked).  We have had a fraction of success locally and regionally for over 8 years now and we would like to take the next step.


How would we go about finding a company that can manufacture our clothing label; including t-shirts, jeans and sports apparel?


How do we start off on the right foot for long term business relationships?


Also, we're also curious if any company out there can aid and assist with distribution of the finished product, assisting us with finding retailers globally who would carry our products.


Idealistically, we would like to find a company who could help us give our brand legs and get it moving.  The brand has enough appeal and longevity, we just need to get it out there.

Yes, part we call it marketing, you should have the network to sell them, it can be worldwide or your domestic market, just do well on your advertising work, and let people know it and buy from you.

Thanks - it's fun but just not the results we were going for, we want to grow outside of our market :)

Ok, we have done a bit of this -- but so far we have only been able to find importers/exporters of name brands; not quite anyone who can customize our designs and produce items with our branding.  Any criteria to look for here?

With a seller - idealistically we would like to find a manufacturer who can also work as a licensee for our product in global markets, as we do not have the capibility or reach to do so from here.

I think there might be some confusion here, we do not have a network in place - we are hoping to find a manufacturer who would be interested in licensing our product (see above).
