We have a clients  in Spain. We have shipped goods to Spain. our payment terms is L/C.

we have sent the documents to issuing bank for a long time . as there is discrepanies on documents.

but up to now, our customer still have pay for the goods . the documents still in bank. the goods are still in the port of spain.

what should we do .if the goods stay the port for too long time, that will cause a lot of extra charge.

we are not sure what's the payment terms at your side .

Is it L/C at sight.or L/C at 30days,60days.90days ?

Trying to give them a call. not just sending mail .

you can asking your bank to sending a telex to the issue bank  to pushing them

pay the money ASAP.

for the extra charge at their side. if your terms are FOBterms.

the extra charge will be on buyer's side.
