Calling manufacturers of organic/ecological knitwear and fleece
Post 1 of 12
How would you comment on the trend of buyers seeking those organic/ecological clothing?

We get once a while people requesting us to make their design using organic fabric. But once they see the price difference versus traditional cotton, they mostly switch back to conventional making.

Everybody likes the idea of organic living. But the cost seems to be a very big barrier.

Do you ever see a chance for a new brand/startup, armed with minimal capital, to live well into the organic apparel market?

We are also a wholesaler of this kind of products .I think it's necessary to rise the price according to the cost, Because we have high quality and unique style. I don't think customers like low price with poor quality products.

If you are interested in this kind of product and want to discuss with me . Please contact me.

[em1] Is it a trend to use organic material? If organic amounts to environmental, of course there must be a market. But for business, the balance between cost and profit should be considered. In fact, what is the  meaning  of organic in apparel industry? If we use cloth (100% cotton ) to sew clothes, does it mean unhealthful? Organic knitwear may have a  long way to go.

By the way, we are a manufacturer based in Foshan and Canton China, produce children wear in the style of[em14]comfort, [em1]health, [em2]lovely and [em3]childish for boys and girls that from 1-years old to 6 years old.
