Is there any way to check if the company ISO is correct or fake?

Every ISO certificate has a registration number. You can ask for a copy of the ISO certificate, and check with the organization that issued the certificate - tell them the reg. number, the company name and they will tell you if it is right or not. The issuing organization is written on the certificate (companies like SGS, Det Norske Veritas etc.).

We have been doing Business with China for more than 5-6 years. The answer of your question depends on which product you want to import and what's the quantity. ??

We generally bring quotation from manufacturer and also ask all relevant certificates they achieved. We also ask at least 1 end user's certificate/performance certificate from the company who used their products for more than 2-3 yrs. Also we appoint pre-shipment inspection, and the payment is by L/C. But if your required product is something else and quantity is less, of course it is worthless to spend money higher compared to the order volume. So if you give me an idea about ur required product and Qty, may be I can show you some way....

Its very easy to check specially on Alibaba.


At each supplier's alibaba webpage there is a tab for "certificates" on the left side. Just click on it and you will see the authenticated certificate.


An ISO Certified company in all probability must have uploaded on Alibaba.

Check this website, click on country and members. If it is not listed, chances are it may be lacking some credentials unless it is a new member.
