Well Done my Friend......Top Marks.[em19][em19][em19]

Give yourself a big pat on the back, you deserve it. Due dilligence has obviously paid off for you in this case. 100/100.

You are an inspiration and others on Alibaba.com should take notice of your efforts.

Congratulations and once again....well done. [em19][em18]

Hello I am a Nigerian. I just registered with Alibaba today only to read this article. Personally, i feel it is very unfair to classify all 140 million Nigerians as scammers. Just as Mobile Punch (a daily newspaper) rightly stated, EFFC is one amongst several sources to confirm the authenticity of all parties-in-trade. Others, but not all are, Nigeria Import Promotion Council (NIPC), Standard Organization of Nigeria, Nigeria Customs Service and all relevant ministries, departments and agencies.

Thank you so much for your information it really helps. There are just so many fake buyers and sellers out there its kinda hard to figure out who's who. But with me if it looks fake and sounds fake I wont even look yourway. Not only that in the U.S. we can check your name against a data base and see if you have been in anytrouble or if you are not allowed to have anything shipped to you from our country. And here at my company we work very close with Customes to reject shipping to fake buyers or sellers.[em5]

Thanks ir1uno,

It was nice reading your article and it really shows how to check details from African buyer. I would also want to share newest way these Nigerian buyers are using to make money. They are sending government contracts and demanding money for application fee.

Regards

JEET

Hi All Thank you for your valued information. I just started my business as a distributor for various prouducts such as instant noodles, snacks, biscuits etc. I have received a lot of enquiries from interested parties from Africa.

After I quoted them, they says it is for the bid tender and requested me to send a LOI together with Proforma Invoice to Ministry of Interior (is there such a government department) and Organisation of Africa Development. The tender is more than USD8M. Can anyone believe it. They did not even see the product. Just a quotation. They even request to call the Chairman of the tender and present them with gifts. Isn't a scam?

All the more I do not understand is that all are from Africa. There is not genuine buyer out there. Till date, I have not had done a business transaction. All companies just ask for quotation with coming back.  Can anyone help? [em4]
