Why so many companies complained about Chinese supplier and products.
Post 1 of 27
I have been in Forum for some days. The most complained suppliers are for sure from China. Are there so many Spammers from China? Or it is for non-good communication..

In my experience, half of Chinese manufacturers don't respect customer's request. You ask for a chicken, they give you a duck. And will tell you the duck is a sample, if you are happy with the duck, they will make you chicken.

The  other half are just in Alibaba to con your money. So buyers beware.

I am partly agree with you. You will give them one specification, they will commit they can supply 100% accordingly but really they dont/cant always. Nevertheless, one out of hundred, you may come across to quality manufacturer/supplier who have professional attitude targeting to clients satisfaction.

Hi, I don't agree with you at all.

China is such a big exporting country in the world, so there are sure something may happened in such a huge trading case.  such like news happening in the world when you are watching TV, so many people, so there should be something happening.

As for so many scammers from China as you said, this is same as above too, due to huge export country. but if you pay attention to people who scammed, they were usually talking that they buy a brand items, and they are scammed by a low price that too much lower than market price. and this is not a legal way to buy these from China, but should from a authorised supplier or distributor.

Yes, there do have some case that some suppliers bad,  but if you have a good way to deal with them, you can avoid things happend, such like choosing a buying agent, or an experienced exporting supplier.

Anyway, be carefull for everything.

What most people outside China - including me - often fail to understand that China is an extremely big country and market. Whatever you pick there is a million of it. So while statistically the number of unprofessional companies is not higher than anywhere else there are still thousands of unprofessional suppliers. My experience is that there are very good and professional companies in China and inferior ones as well. You need some luck to meet the good ones, but mostly it depends on your trade skills how the business cooperation will turn out. It is very easy to come across ignorant suppliers when your only deciding factor is price alone.

I quite agree with you by saying"It is very easy to come across ignorant suppliers when your only deciding factor is price alone." Every one knows price from China are lower than Market from their own country. But most of them take care of PRICE only that why some are easily to be scammed. We should take care of reputation and DO NOT believe that spllier with unbelievable low price.

People watching only price comes from lacking professionalism on the buyers' side as well. He only looks: what does it cost? How much will I profit with this? And if one supplier is 5% cheaper he goes for it. The buyer in this case does not realize that if he buys inferior quality or service (undoubtedly cheap) he will not be able to sustain a long-term business in his own market - his professional competitors will beat him up with better service and quality. (Let alone he is not even able to sell the crap he bought for cheap). There is a saying in my country: cheap is the most expensive. Today virtually all markets are competitive - you simply cannot afford being unprofessional or uninformed. This is why I always advise everyone to trade with products they like and really know (instead of some perceived "hot sells"). However there are only few people who really know a product - this is why new traders often fail.
