I've just started my business in Alibaba last week and something keeps me sleepless. I really hope to have your advices.
My family owns a trustworthy garment factory in Vietnam who manufactures for big brands like Nike, Adidas, Pierre Cardin, and my best friend has a granite factory with 2 granite mines. Hence I wanna have my own trading/agent business supplying these competitive products of Vietnam to other developed countries. The point here is I do have good things to sell.
As a newbie to Alibaba, I don't want to pay for TrustPass membership in the first place because I don't have much money as a start-up and I don't know how effective is Alibaba and the TrustPass. Alibaba's service people keep calling to ask me to join, but I still hensitate. It's true that I've been sending out tons of message to the buyers and only got 1-2 reponses.
So my question is: Without a TrustPass, how can a new and good seller gain trust and do serious business ? Or it's just impossible and I should pay $500 for the membership ? Honestly I think TrustPass doesn't guarantee a good seller. Trust cannot be bought easily with that amount of money.
