RUSSIAN OIL SCAMS: Transneft fee scam from fake Russian Oil Sellers

Replying to [oilthirsty]: Be careful, Russian Scammers are known to use names very close to legitimate Russian companies to fool foreigners thinking that they are dealing with well known Russian companies. The end goal is to win your confidence to deceive you better and get you to send them money upfront.
Like you, I could not find any listing on the NYSE for Transnafta. The Web site said that they became listed on NYSE iin 2002 under the symbol TRSFT not ROS but I could not find either one.
So assuming that there is a real Transnafta, first make sure that you are dealing with the real one. Scammers use fake email addresses for real companies and banks to confuse you more like transnafta@mail.ru or alphabank@mail.ru, all email addresses from a free service that they created. So when you send email to the bank or company, the email really goes to them not the real company.
Finally call your Embassy in Moscow to get info about the company and if the company really exists then verify that the people that you are dealing with work for the real company not a fake one.

After a full investigation
i have found out how to verify oil companies in Russia
use the link below and verify every company if its registered in the russia cormmerce sector.
It includes the address and date or regester in the russian federation
Its the official website from the russian goverment
The only problem you will need a translator to read and write for you in russian
The link is below:

Tell the seller to send you the name of the company in Russian
so that you can verify his claims
For those who wanted the B/L from my customer,
Its unfortunate that my direct buyer had shedy deals with this very deal, and he has refused to realese the B/L
He is a goverment official who is about to be elected to the ANC executive. I don't want to expose him, he may loose his political life.

I am not familiar with this company but if you sign a contract for Million MT of M100, most likely you might never see much of that product because refinery capacity is not big for this product.
Also, these guys usually charge Transneft fee for each 500k of product. So your bill should have much higher.
I doubt that you will see any POP if you pay that additional money. Regardless of what you can learn about this seller, My advice would be to fly to Moscow and get help from your local embassy to contract Transneft directly before you contact the seller.
