Replying to [roy-126]:i have just checked one of our forums, comments on companies. (ranger) in february 2007 wrote that there are about 400 fake escrow companies and some 2000 fake agents or sites.

this is really disturbing my brain.

Can someone honestly tell me, what is the real cheapest CIF price for D2 and mazut m100-75 & 99 from russia?
And who is the real seller ?

Replying to [johntan]:
Can you really be so naive as to think that oilyx is posting this very useful information because he's from a rival refinery out on a witch-hunt???
This scam does not apply only to Russian oil. It applies to all the commodities from copper cathodes to non-existent products like SLCO and even financial instruments like the Prime Bank Guarantee fraud.
As oilyx has mentioned, the 'brokers' in between calling themselves 'mandates' or 'next to direct seller' are likely to be innocent parties being fooled into thinking that they have a genuine seller and that they're going to make millions of $ by acting as the intermediary.
A genuine seller will be proud to show proof that he can deliver without demanding that the buyer do cart wheels for them first. Since when did a customer go into a shop to try on a pair of shoes only to be met by the shop assistant demanding that the customer must first prove he has the cash to pay for the shoes before being shown the shoes??

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: RUSSIAN OIL SCAMS: Transneft fee scam from fake Russian Oil Sellers
Replying to [roy-126]: When all think of commodity, is that something limited resources? So why still have so many seller crazy and sell the D2 at USD 385.00/MT or M100 USD 225.00/MT, when our Platt's price hovering around USD 660.00/MT for D2.
And remember, commodity is all by seller market, only minor terms is negotiable.
Genuine seller will give you the same price even whole market or Platt increased, because they had their money to block the allocation, that's their decision to sell to you.

I don't mean to offence some of the seller but that's all truth.

Thanks

Replying to [jensenooi and oilyx]:

Mr.Oilyx has opened up an interesting discussion. I am a beginner in this area and would like to clarify some of my doubts. One of our seller says, Platts discount is the real one and fix price for the whole contract is not logical/impossible. People are selling D2 anything from $380 to $490 on fix price. The senior members can do some enlightenment on this[em1]

Replying to [seth75]:

I think you're right and I believe so. That being the reason I never wasted my time on this. However I did receive a number of offers from D2 'sellers' since the time I posted reply in this forum, but of course am not wasting time pursuing this. For instance am involved in selling other million dollar product, very specific and closed market and very technical, and am not about to waste my time dealing with amateurs online too. Likewise I have my doubts about this oil trading among the general public, including teenage dropouts and school leavers who are really just chasing rainbows.. [em10]

Hi there.I'm a buyer's mandate based here in Nigeria.I'm quite interested in your posting as i share a peculiarity with you.I just received an FCO from OAO TRANSNAFTA on Friday(signed and sealed by the president) and they're also asking for an upfront payment for the Transneft fee.I had sent my LOI with soft probe permission to their mandate, who's also a member of Alibaba.com.I also visited their website on WWW.TRANSNAFTA.NET and as you said,it looks really impressive. What do i do,i'm pretty confused right now. Please advice, although Transnafta got some positive encomiums from people,on this forum, who have dealt with them in the past. Please advice asap!!
