What payment term does Chinese suppliers mostly like for the first order. I know they like T/T term.Which amount should I pay for deposit if T/T payment there

[em1] Thanks for your requesting and interesting to deal with us. Regarding the payment term for the first order, we prefer 50% T/T in advance, 50% before shipping, for later order 30% in advance and 70% before shipping . I hope it will be acceptable.

yes that is right, because
The first order is usually very small. So we prefer TT ,or wstern union or momey gram payment .When the quantity becomes bigger, we will think over other payment term.  but usually, we choose the western union, becaust that is faster then TT[em7]

Hello,

I'd prefer to choose TT30% in advance, the rest balance against copy of B/L for the first orders. This is a step to establish our trust to each other. After we trust our business partner well enough, then we can consider some other payments for closer business relationship. I think these're avoidless steps to keep your money safe in worldwide business.

TT payment terms where never intended for first time buisness contact, times are changing and fraud on the internet is rampant!, so it is not recomended.

I have used paypal for chine's made goods in the past with great success.

like I said TIMES ARE CHANGING!!! and I have the phisical proof in front of me to PROVE that.

Gernally, the first order is  trail order , so the amount is  small, we suggest  100%T/T in advance, bcz the bank cost is low.

if amount is bigger, we usually  adopt  30%T/T deposit , 70%  against document, that is

see copy of B/L , importer balance our account  70%. and other term payment by L/C

, it is the safest  for us , but the term the bank cost it high and has deadline , if factory delivey good after delivey time or    submit  document to bank,  the will deduct some cost from total

amount .

 one word , we like T/T  .

The amount for first order is not very big. So as a chinese supplier, I think we prefer to 100% by T/T.
