What payment term does Chinese suppliers mostly like for the first order. I know they like T/T term.Which amount should I pay for deposit if T/T payment there

Hot Topic Recommend

I have a Buyer, I found a seller, How can I make some money• Dealing with Chinese Suppliers • I want to remit to china!
• Finally found a legitimate company!• I don't know how to promote here!
• How to get the loan from bank?• business opportunites in India
• Why the customer only enquire?• Who protects the supplier interest?
• Shipping charges and options• Invoice price lower? what can i do?

100% IN ADVANCE BY TT IS THE BEST ONE FOR CHINESE SUPPLIERS [em1]

GENERALLY, WE USUALLY ACCEPT 30% ADVANCE , 70% AFTER THE COPY OF B/L

sometimes it seems to be balance on both side.the payment just a method in transfer money.if you trust each other .no mater what the payment way is.

some times in the first cooperation.many chinese surpplier tend to western union .

and they will promisse to refund some of the first sample fee in the further cooperatin.

As a BUYER I prefer CASH ON DELIVERY, i fly over if the order is LARGE and check myself. If small order ask my chinese friend to buy the sample and send over. Nobody can be trusted in this UGLY world of business.

There is always RISK of:

1. Company disappear after receiving T/T

2. Some stories about not receiving your T/T when you already sent them payment.

3. Money NOT enough after receiving T/T payment.

4. False Tracking numbers

5. Item NOT in stock.

6. Send your complete different item or damaged item

Actually the payment mostly depend on the products . If the amount and volume is big ,the shipment is by sea, it will use LC better

But for some other products, especially by air. The payment will be TT. Take our factory product as an example, our main product is advertising display products. The weight is not so much, and most customers like the shipment by air. So we must choose TT, it will help us avoid rask.

As an importer, you may also worry about something. So firstly, you should check the factory ,you can check the supplier wheather they have right to do export .Or you can check them wheather have third party certifications and so on. Some importers also like TT better, because it is convinent and save cost.

[em19],how i can check wheather the suppliers have the right to do shipment?how we check their reputation...

[em1]usually,the deposit about 30% and the balance should be pay by document .but for samples order should pay 100% in advance.

You will tell the suppliers your recognized third part to check the suppliers, but maybe it will take you a much money ,if you hire someboady to check them ,maybe it is much cheaper.

Most of the time it would be 30% in advance before production and 70% against B/L. This the the most optimal way equal to both the buyer and the seller. What businessmen worry most is risk, biz fraud... and this way would evade such lurks effectively, although the seller may be taking a risk of suffering from rejection from the buyer's side or the goods may be drawn away by the buyer without B/L. Business is based on mutual benefits. Anyway, there's no perfect things, even the laws have certain defects...By the way, we are the cutlery manyfacturer, what a great coincidence it is that the host of this forum is also buying cutlery! Hope we can talk about this,ha

normally.30% of all to for the deposite.and then pay all before the shiping, because they should collect the goods or the material for using the deposite, and the deposite is built  for the trust between yours.so don't worried about the something for the worthy company.
