hi. i'm just register for alibaba. i'm prefer to be a buyer but i don't know how to start it. could somebody help me to tell the every step i need to do before i start to trade with the seller. coz my knowledge trading so bad. please. hope someody could guide me.

I take it you haven't traded before. Well it's easy actually.

a. have a big bundle of cash ready

b. you probabaly get conned a few times a long the way, so be prepared

c. In the Alibaba main page, in the top, type in the product you are looking for.

d. Find a supplier with the product you want and contact them

e. Ask for price and negotiate

f. Get an inspection agent, make sure this person is good and reputable.  Also this person is close to your supplier.

g. inspection agent will guide you from here onwards

h. get a customs agent ready at your end.

i. organise warehousing and fork lift.

j. marketing plan in place, distribute, sell, sell sell

where can i get inspection agent. mostly money done already. i'm only personal buyer. want to start a small business first. so my quantity of buying only in small quantity.

I do not know how small is your order,In general,you can search alibabab homepage for products you are requested to gain some contact,then negociation. For shipping,I think it is available to use EXPRESS while the quantity is very small.

well, it is not that everybody will come across some cheats, and most of the suppliers all over the world are good

well, you can find some friends here in the place you are buying from, and make sure the man has no relations with the supplier you need, if not, the quality and price will not be good

j. marketing plan in place, distribute, sell, sell sell

well, it is not that we are making the plan after we have the mercandise, we should be ready to sell before we have the merchandise--i mean, we must make the prepareation ahead of time

1. Find suppliers in the selling lead

2. Select some suppliers and send enquiries to them.  You can add them to your contact list and chat with them on line.

3. Choose the supplier who can supply the goods in low price, high quality and best service.

 

There is sevral steops  I can suggest,

1. First, you should decide what you would like to buy and the quantity per time.

2. Looking for a supplier from alibaba also you can find supplier from other B2B web. Contact with them and get detail information with them. This is important, because you need to judge whether you can trust a supplier through chating with them and their information.

3. Personally, I suggest small order at the first time because you don't know well the supplie at the first time and the quality about the products.  For small order you can ask your supplier to quote you a expressing fee, like via UPS or DHL.. Usually weight below 45kgs, via express will be better. If larger weight maybe can via airway but you need to pick your goods in your airport. Anyways, you can ask your supplier to sugggest to a good way with efficiency to send you the goods.

4. Of cource, sometimes the price for goods is ok for you, but the shipping fee maybe high, this situation happens very usually. So just ask your supplier to find the best shipping way with compectitive price.

5. When you think that very thing is ok, good price and shipping fee they are all acceptable by your market. ok, you can ask the supplier to send you a Proforma Invoice to comfirm your order. After get the PI, check it, if something need to change just let your supplier know and if everything ok, arrange payment.  Before arrange payment you can should make clear that when the supplier will send you the goods after the payment.
