If you are thinking of doing the business during festive time, you are already too late and missed the boat. The stores have already stocked their items months before Christmas, at least two months ahead. Most of them have their yearly time table, and their busiest periods are the festive periods, be it the Easter or Christmas.
They are also not subjected to one religion or type of celebration, the Departmental stores take the leverage of any festivals to sell their products, promoting gifts of ties and wallets / handbags / jewellery during Valentine Day, for example, and children toys during Christmas.
As other members suggest, you can promote your product to countries that are not involved with the celebration of Christmas during this time.
