when sourcing my products from different suppliers around the world, I need to add to them freight costs, wich is not an easy thing to do.


is there any website with basic sea freight costs available? Just to get a quick quote?

Unfortunately there is no such website. First, forwarders keep their rates confident, second they always quote on specific schedules. Additionally, freight surcharges and fees change quite often.


The best way is to maintain a regular contact with the salespersons of several forwarding companies, and asking them to send you updates on the most likely schedules you may use, for your comparison.

You're welcome. In fact, if you consider, it would be rather difficult to maintain such a website with all possible routes and schedules.

There is a good website here in Turkey. Freight rates to all destinations available.

um Norma.......people are talking CONTAINER LOADS for shipping rates. USPS does not do that kind of business.

and as an FYI while I am at it Norma. please READ the posting rules....... no contact info.

Yes there is one way. Know that the shipping prices these scamming companies want to charge you is WAY to high don't bother buy local.

It is true, we need to keep contact with the shipping company for the frequent change on freight charge.
