PAYPAL SECURE?

I finally found a supplier that accepts Paypal. Is this a secure way to do the transaction?

Replying to [mlivolti]:I personally use paypal and have always found it to be a secure method of sending and receiving money especially if the person is a verified paypal member. The buyer has protection up to the value of 500 british pounds which would be approximately 1000 US dollars. Get more info on paypal.co.uk or paypal.com I have not yet managed to find a seller on alibaba that accepts paypal but I certainly do hope to. Whatever you decide to do you should always check the credentials of the company you intend to purchase from. I have learned this lesson through a bitter experience.

meaning after they make payment, they can request paypal to return the money to them if there is fraud occured in the trading such item not received.
The risk is that the can issue charge back even transaction have legally completed. SCAMMERS DO THIS ALL THE TIME>

Paypal affords no security outside of ebay transactions.
