I would like to know about the procedures and cost for setting up an offshore company in Hong Kong and have following questions in this regard:

Q1. What are the initial, monthly or annual expenses involved?

Ans : Initial expensese is minimum 600 USD. No monthly expenses. Annual chargese for renewl of Business Licence only. That may be 200 to 300 USD.

Q2. How we can start and operate it totally virtually from our place without employing any people and engaging any office space?

Ans : No need any office space for that, and you can operate it anywhere from the world.

Q3. What are the advantages we can get through it if we are engaged in only imports and exports outside HK?

Ans : You can import and export from any country using this company. You can open an offshore acounts in that country and transfer the money. Bank can do this on your written instruction.

Q4. What are the legal requirements?

Ans : For an offshore company no any special legal requirement.

Q5. How we would be able to do the transactions of goods through this company from one place to another place of the world without visiting HK?

Ans : In HK the person, who will register your offshore company he will do all for you. He will file your tax return, he will do the accounting and all. For this you have to pay the charges to him. It depends from agent to agent. 


In short, we are interested to know the procedure of setting up of a simple offshore company which needs minimum legal and commercial requirements and through which we can move products from one place to another place of the world (excluding HK) by managing the operations remotely from our place only.

You will make your bill, other documents at your place. But all the returns and taxes have to file in HK.
