Hi, every buddy! I have met the hard nut recently! I found there are some problems in my English lisenting. When I talked with our clients from all over the world by phone, I can made sence what ther said sometimes. What happen here? Being a English major with CET-6 certificated, I am shame for this problem! But, I encourage myself to face it! Could you give me some suggestion?

Replying to [Goolam]:Hello!In fact,I don't know if I can understand what my clients say.Because I hanvn't client.
I think we should consider these points, when we speak english:
1.Our pronunciation whether is correct or not.
2.Our speaking speed is rapid or slow.
3.On the telephon, maybe the telephone has problem, our client will not understand what our say.

You need to speak more and more with English people and listen to the news on the Chinese tv in English.

If your client are talking to you and you don't understand them, stop them and make sure you start again, never let them think you know what they have said, as you will get further stuck.

You must communicate well at all time when you talk with your clients, the words you will miss can be a loss to you business.

Replying to [Goolam]: The key is: practice, practice and practice.

Communicate with english speaking ppl as much as you can. The most important 2 skills you need to improve are listening and speaking.

All the best
