Send him 2 Invoices. One correct one, and one with the lower price he asked for.

Keep him happy and he will give you repeat orders.[em3]

I'am wary of that advise TIGER.  Recently in the U.S. and many other western countries Customs offices, they are using price averaging on HTS numbers.  If they get something that is significantly below price it raises a red flag.  Which could hold your shipment for up to 30 days until they make a determination and maybe even a deeper inspection.

I know just like so many others that stuff is going to get by Customs officers around the world.  But, like I say if these products are going to a western country the supplier is taking a risk as well.

As of 30 days ago in the U.S. two insignificant containers of Christmas lights imported from China were confiscated.  First red flag was why the commercial invoice for the product was so cheap.  Upon further inspection the electrical plugs were not UL approved and carried a faked number that was from a different manufacturer.  They might only be out a couple of hundered thousand dollars out of pocket but it will be more than that after fines and the loss at retail is about 1.5 million dollars

In my honest oppinnion its just not worth helping your customer break importing laws, and if China picks up the ball and really starts cracking down on the junk being exported suppliers will really be hurting.

Yes give him 2 invoices if he insists. Make sure you give your accountant the right one (...).

If your client burns himself then it is his problem.

Due to the problem is they want to save the import tax, as they say our product

need around 30% tax.......[em11]

Hi. If you import the electronic products from China, pls be careful with the lower invoice value. (Pls don't declare too low)

I learnt that the UK customs has been more strict with the electroinc products parcels with lower declaration fee.

My parcel to UK has been delayed for several weeks last month, but it was lucky that the UK customs let it go after sometime! My buyer and I were very worried at that time~

Don't ever do that, You may become a victim of under invoicing, and as per different country's law, different penalty may be imposed on you.

Be honest and fair in dealings.
