Supplier didn't send goods

I live in the US. I sent money to a supplier (Hokishops) in Taiwan, they (susan Farmer) never sent me anything in return. It has been over 2 weeks and they are not responding to emails & there phone is disconected.
What can I do?

Before sending the money you might have verified their credit worthiness

don't wrong it ,i think if a comapny who signed in alibaba,it is good enough to return the sample,i think the money of one or several samples is not very much,i think you can let your heart free,it will come soon,
maybe now there are some wrong with them,but i think they will,everycompany with the hope to get business,not the sample money,though they are scam,but i think if the ssram is clever enough thery will wait for your big order!here is just one suppose,i think you will get what you need,but you need wait sometime!good luck!

Replying to [discountproshop]: I am afraid that Hokishops is a scammer. I read their address, and there is no such place in Taiwan. It is not a complete address. And the company name is not a legit one. Also the name "Susan Farmer" is definitely not a Taiwanese name. Good Luck!

The other thing is what price did you pay them for the item, was it a bargian price, how did you pay them?

Are you new to this field? If you are doing international business you should be very carefull with payments,because you can not find whether your suppliers are fraud or not.If you do business safest way no one can fraud you.
If you do not know well about your suplier don't send money without guarantee.best way to do payment with unknown supplier is Irrevocable LC at Sight.
Gone is gone next time try to do the best way.
What ever the falts you are doing this will be good investment for your future business, because you will not do same mistakes again in your life time.
