Post 1 of 5
     We find now-a-days there are so many firms with the above registrations;

Whether the certified companeis of above marks are genuine and how to verify they are genuine?

Dear Curdrice,

ISO certification is given to companies after thorough inspection and meeting minimum management criteria by certifying company.

There is no TM company. Company applies to Registrar of Trade Marks to get their Name, Style And logo registered in their name, so nobody can copy them.

Companies are not branded.Some companies carry their own name as brand, Pepsi, Coca-Cola Etc

TRUST- Apply your own due diligence to be safe.

You can ask for a copy of their certificate and check the reg number with the company listed as the checker.

The certificate as no meaning for the quality of the products, only that they have a business that can deal with the customers that buy from them in the right way,
managers, quality checking, records, these type of systems in place.

There are two different views of ISO Certification.

Although ISO cetification is awarded to whome who
meet the minumum required criteria of the awarding authority, they inspect, surprise check and then award the certification.

ISO Certification in South Asia is not as percieved in Europe or other developed countries. Here people already know the time when they will be inspected, they clean their workplace, renew their equipments, and update any lack. Certification authority visits, inspect and found every thing ok, so no doubt they are ISO Certified. But on the other hand after these visits early conditions re-appears bad enviornment, dirty equipments and all other lacks are come on sight. So just rely on certificate is not the right way.

ISO Certification in other developed countries precive an recognition of quality assurance and customer trust it.

So when making any buy decision from South Asian coutries you must have to personally chek them to assure maximum trust. While on other places you can trust.

TM and Brands are already well described by SIXER earlier.
