Quoting from [TTPPP]:

how to start on Alibaba.com? Will your guys show me the way?

You can start by uploading some of your products on to the FREE MEMBER Site.

When loading the pictures, you have to get them in JPEG format only, and without transparency, no GIF or any other format is allowed. The size of the file must be less than 200 KB.

It is good for you to prepare your presentation first, your product display, photos and the write up. Alibaba recommends to make a Batch upload using Excel tools, but I find it to be too exergerative, they occupy much space because of the HTML codes for the cells and tables, I suggest you use simple system such as RICH TEXT, or the NOTEPAD.

If you are just looking to buy in Alibaba site, the procedure is simplier, just click the "Buy Now" Tab above, and type in the product or service in the search column. You can fine tune it by selecting the country or region.

Alibaba's search engine is any word search, if you want exclusive search, then you may have to key in the search condition codes like: " || " which is OR and "&&" which is AND.

Perhaps I can find some related pages to answer your question and help you to start using the B2B site for your transaction.

Beware of scammers, phishing or masquerades. There are lots of crooks around, and you have to be careful when trading in the internet, not just in Alibaba, also any other sites.

Hello, I am new to business and Alibaba. I need samples of my product to be made. How do I get quotes? I am very honest and want to deal with honest companies. What is the fist step?
