How to make your start up business succesful
Post 1 of 2
This commenst comes from my own experience, and want to share some of the situations I was exposed and how I managed to resolve them and keep moving.

To start a business you need to have a product you believe in, either in quality or price. but something that is unique and have the potential of growth. The other imporant part is discipline. I could not do my tax returns on time beacsue menu mishaps in administering the paperwork and details.

Finally, lots of energy to go through the experience of learning how to sell right, how to get customers and how to service them so you may not lose them. But over all, willing to go the extra mile to give your customers a superb customer service. That includes paying them regular visits to find out how the product is rotating, advise them what options they could try to improve their sales, delivering their orders on a timely and accurate manner. support them when launching marketing campaigns (announce them as points of sale).

Where I am leading to, is to have an excellent relationship with your customers, which will be your most precious assets down the road. When you have a relaibale customer base, you could esily test new products or services with them. What I do is when I get samples of new products, I simply give it to them and get their honest feedback, if they would buy the producta dn how much they are willing to pay. So launching additional products is closer to a safe bet, and now you have another product that may open the doors of additional customers.

I started with one provider and took six months to build a customer base of 100 customers, Ithen it was much easier to add more products from different providers, because those products have been tested already and have entered the market with minimum glitches. That allowed me to add three more providers shortly, and now I have the opportunity to add five more, because I was able to train people to manage the process that works fine for me and my focus is now in getting more business, and that is what I do best and have mastered over time.

If there is something you don't know well about marketing or financing, don't feel unconfortable, there are plenty of institutions willing to teach yiu those needed skills, or advice you in key issues your company needs.

Business is fun, and should be viewed that way. Demand lots of energy and dedication, and above all risks. You may create a business plan to sell 100 units the first month and then double up every month. Many times the right marketing tools to use to achieve that was of no avail, and whatever you use did not translate into the sales revenues that was expected. What to do?. Simply don't give up, your marketing efforts need a review. Be open and flexible to correct mistakes and keep the stamina to do things over again but with amore specific approach to make it happen. As one old-timer from the import industry once told me. As long as you keep working hard on your projects, you will never lose. One project may fail, but the next project will succeed, as you learn with the flow.

Hope, you could grab the essence of this comment. If you have some comments on my notes please feel free to let me know.
