MOST of Chinese suppliers are honest and reliable, however, there are still some stupid scammers in China are ruining our good image on the globe.

Here I may tell you some tips again on self-check your suppliers only by reading their company names, telephones and addresses online, it's very easy!! Take www.pickyourlike.com for example, let's look at their contact information and company profile one by one:

1. Company profile
They do not have a good company profile, and their company name Pickyourlike cannot be registered in China according to the regulations with China Corporation Registration Law at my end. As a normal company, usually we have a basic company profile online.

2. Address
Their address: quanzhou city,fujian provice,china
This address actually does not exist in China. It's similar to: New York, the USA. With such an address online, how can you trust this supplier? How can you find a non-existing company among millions of people in Putian or Quanzhou city?

3. Telephone
8615860073320
This is a mobile phone number instead of a registered office number in China. What's more, this number is registered in Putian instead of Quanzhou, from this number, you can easily judge that this is a stupid scammer in China. They tell you that they are in Quanzhou but actually they in Putian, China according to their telephone information.

4. Email address:
This is possible, because most of us Chinese businessman are using free mailboxes in China. So we cannot judge their company by their mailboxes.

5. Business lines
Please look at their product information, you may note that they are selling too many fast-selling products online, actually this is impossible when they register in China, there are many limitations in the registration of a trade company in China, esp when you deal with branded products online.

Please note that Putian is famous for scammers in China, but now, some of Putian scammers are moving to other big cities like Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen etc to continue their scams online. What we have to do is to do enough Due Diligence work before your payment with the help of local experts like www.bizinchina.cc.  They can inspect or audit the suppliers and control the quality for you in person in China. Other similar scammers like: http://www.nap321.com http://www.cnwholesale.com and www.china-suppliers.com etc

These tips are only for some stupid scammers in China, as for some professional scammers, of course, the best and most effective verification way is to inspect them in China!

It would nice if you could add three features to Alibaba:

1. The ability for buyers and sellers to leave feedback about each other's experiences (like you can on EBay). Because I noticed some of the manufacturers are stealing my images and posting them to their Alibaba sites acting like they made them, when I know they did not and cannot make those products pictured. This is a problem, because they create distrust with their customers, plus they post images of products they've never really made and oftentimes cannot make like the image shown.
2. Some type of verification and listing of manufacturers' certifications with your TrustPass Profile. The manufacturers who have been "verified" with the Trustpass profile are not all they're cracked up to be. Because all Alibaba manufacturers promise me they make beautiful and quality poroducts, and of course they all require cash up front, and then we receive it and it is all falling apart. While the feedback in bullet #1 above would also help expose those kinds of manufacturers, if you were to list certifications like SGS and CE certifications, that would go even futher to show these manufacturers meet certain standards. 
3. I don't understand how these manufacturers have been "verified" via the TrustPass, when I am seeing the same manufacturers listed until often-times THREE different names. This allows them to gain customeers under a different name if they upset that customer under a 2nd or 3rd name, and I think it can lead to less positive experiences.  

I hope Alibaba considers these ideas, because it would really enhance an already amazing concept. =)

I never got a response back the day they picked up the momeny from Western Union. I not only lost my money but valuable time and trust in doing business with chinese people. This is a scam company they use hotmail accounts and cheat on naive business people.

I picked 03 trust pass, gold supplier companies from Aliba, placed orders with and made payment through T/T, W/U.  All three trun out to be fraud. Took the money and no response the time they got the money. One had provided me with a wrong tracking no and I continued to follow up they told me shipping company had made the error and my items never left china. The promised to resend the goods which they confirmed they have but not giving me a tracking no or copy of the shipping documents. To me scammers out number the good businesses in china. My experience tells that people selling name brad goods are 100% scammers.

Where's Alibab's verification and awards of gold supplier and trust pass companies stand? How they help protect buyers from scam business. How scammers get gold supplier and trust pass company status? Scammers on alibaba use different names and addresses to continue their fraud business.

I can't believe some people here are asking for suppliers of iPhone!! They are afraid of scammers yet they themselves are trying to scam. The only legal supplier of iPhones in the USA is Apple through AT&T, in other countries might be a different company. Anyone else offering iPhones not only is a scammer but a criminal, and so are your for trying to acquire these brand name goods from an illegal channel.

For all those of you out there buying "replicas" I hope you get scammed big time. No supplier should offer you any brand name items.
And please stop complaining about three hundred dollars.
