Hi guys.  These days I have been searching serious sellers over the net. Sadly, there are half of them ask me to use Western Union. (Yes, scammers) There are other 50% only accept using T/T payment. I am just curious why sellers do not accept  L/C or escrow? Are they all scammers? Is it really secure to use T/T payment to pay  some one oversea?

Thank  you very much. =) Wish this post can help other buyers too. =)

T/T is very secure, but does not insure that you will receive products.  Once sent, that is it.  Like handing over cash.

Yeah. What  I am  worry about is they alway s ask me pay first without seeing the products. Won't it be safer to use L/C for both sellers and buyers?

However,  no sellers is willing to use L/C or escrow  yet.

I need some help and advice... please help!!!!!!!

I'm  new to this game and my seller preffered an escrow company which called  World delivery Inc,   It is located in Italy.    At first the escrow company's website is   www.Onlinedeliverys.com.     A few days later which is now  the website had changed to www.Online-deliverys.com   They request to send western Union  instead of  wire transfer.  I can't find the  company's phone number any where in the website. Plus the western Union receiver's adress is  an agent's name (personal) and  it's different with the adress listed on the website.  I suposed to send the money today  or tomorrow  but I don't feel secure at all.   What should I do now???

If this is a initial deal, be careful.

In my opionin, L/C is the most secure ways, but cost much.

Oh, Our factory is an underwear garment factory registered in Hong Kong and have factory in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China Mainland. Anyone who like to import underwear products, our factory is not a bad choice!

As a supplier for PA Speakers, I know the reasons. Following is

First, it is more safe for seller because there are so many scammers around the world.

Second, the amount is too small. It is expensive to use L/C or escrow.

Third, many small trading company, and factory also can export products directly. But they can't accept the L/C because their company is too samll. It is very complex for them to accept the L/C.

I agree to Terry's opinions.

L/C is the best secure way and the allocation of of the risk is evenly shared , but it takes the sell to spent more money .

And another more , if the order is only a 20'container or even less, the seller is not glad to use the L/C terms .Unless the buyer agree to pay the deduction from the bank .

My company exports the billiard tables, usually the both of terms, that is T/T OR L/C , is OK !

But if the order qunantity is small, the T/T is of course preferable !
