Best Answer MVPs
Many members post questions and then forget to even check if someone has replied.Sometimes, one comes across questions posted months ago, replied by others and unacknowledged by original posting member.

Though, I have seen some members awarding points for best answer, if they get first answer satisfying their querry.

So moderators have to sit down and scratch their heads regularly to award .It would be nice if all members are a bit considerate.

Replying to [sixer]: some mods do not award either. It's a little bit like cheating: you lure others to answer your question, I believe some people take time and effort to get the answer, but no acknolwdgement. No good.

However, ones in a blue moon they sit across and award best answer for their question(s). Well it is my personal obeservation.

maybe the problem is not so much the participants or moderators. For example, I still have a hard time when I want to look up a certain message, including my own. Sometimes I just don't know how to find them, so how could I react to them?

If you have a hobby you discuss with people over the internet (I do), you are probably member of a discussion list. These lists are set up in a way that even I (!) [em7] can manage my messages.

Therefore, on these lists I never miss out when it comes to answering, etc. That means, simplifying the access to the different lists/threads at Alibaba could possibly take care of this problem.

Now the worst part: I have no clue how that could be done! [em4]

However, these MVPs can have some effect on competitions participated by members.
Yes, I agree that sometimes, Best Answers that take the MVPs are not good enough.
