I know rats can bear thirst, they can get water thru the grass they eat and lick water drops on the grass when available.Desert rats never drink water, as far as I know. But meanwhile please allow me to mention that rats are active at nights and not under direct effect of daytime heath in deserts, and they are not the animals for carrying burdens. I wrote for camels "with so little food and water",not with no water. I have to confess I didn't know that Giraff can also bear thirst for so long. But they don't live in desert conditions.
Replying to [yarenimex]: Dear Mr. Ozmen, I watched on TV that camels have some varieties, some in Chile is smaller in size. All camels have innocent eyes and long eyelash, I love camels.
They are possibly Alpakas and/or Llamas with smaller sizes but resembling the camels. They are also coming from the same species. Camels have two kinds one kind with single hump and the other kind with double humps at their backs. The one with double humps seems to be a little larger in size than the other kind with one hump. Perhaps Dear Fellow Mod Usama Elkady can give us more information about camels..
