Elegant,Sometimes potential customers will receive up to 50 quotes in the same week (I know I do!). This being the case you may have to wait a week or so for a reply from the customer, it can get very confusing. If you have not heard back within 14 days there is nothing wrong with resubmitting the quote, just in case they missed seeing it the first time
Make sure your quotation contains ALL you contact information, both in the actual email and on any attached quotation document. I can attest to the fact that I will receive (example) 20 quotes from potential suppliers where they put all the contact information in the email but NOTHING on the excel spreadsheet that is attached. This is incredibly frustrating as I tend to print the spreadsheets and compare them on paper rather than on the computer. If I have 20 sheets and 5 of them have no contact info I tend to put them at the bottom of my list, just because it is a pain to go back into my 50 emails and figure out who sent the quote to me.
If after another week of you having resubmitted the quote you have no reply, then a phone call is a last shot. If they say then they are not interested it is time to move on to another client.
