Post 1 of 5
i am a new international trade clerk, our company specializing in plastic sheets, such as pc hollow sheet and pc solid sheet pc embossed sheet, i mainly use alibaba.com to find customers,i have a few enquiries, and i replied carefully all,but i do not receive any farther information from them, I do not understand why they do not make relations with me? my price is too high ? or they are not single-hearted? or my quotation is not effective? I hope somebody help me and give me some advice.

Replying to [elegant yun]:when you faced the problem like this.you can avoid from the questions and ask the client questions instead.but the questions should be intuitionistic.such as"we can offer the sample to you first, how do you think?"[em1]

Elegant,

Sometimes potential customers will receive up to 50 quotes in the same week (I know I do!). This being the case you may have to wait a week or so for a reply from the customer, it can get very confusing. If you have not heard back within 14 days there is nothing wrong with resubmitting the quote, just in case they missed seeing it the first time

Make sure your quotation contains ALL you contact information, both in the actual email and on any attached quotation document. I can attest to the fact that I will receive (example) 20 quotes from potential suppliers where they put all the contact information in the email but NOTHING on the excel spreadsheet that is attached. This is incredibly frustrating as I tend to print the spreadsheets and compare them on paper rather than on the computer. If I have 20 sheets and 5 of them have no contact info I tend to put them at the bottom of my list, just because it is a pain to go back into my 50 emails and figure out who sent the quote to me.

If after another week of you having resubmitted the quote you have no reply, then a phone call is a last shot. If they say then they are not interested it is time to move on to another client.

A real, detailed quotation, better with photos of each item.

You should chek with your compatetier How is your price?

or they are not single-hearted? or my quotation is not effective?
It depended on the mood of your buyer and you can't do any think to your buyer. But keep cool and kind to them at all time.

Winning is not too fare to you.Keep trying
