I can answer your question , but first I have to understand it.You membership is something you have. It isn't something to use. Poeple automatically see that you have it. Please tell me exactly what is it that you have in mind regading "the use of"

 

Its important that the significance of premium membership  be explained to customers of the member. What customers want to know is that specific actions by Alibaba have been taken to investigate the reliability, integrity, capability, quality and pysical existence of the member.

It must be made clear to what extent a credit check has been made.  Has someone contact the physical facilities, buildings offices and verified their location and numberof employees and length of occupancy

Has anyne spoken to the company's bankers, attorneys, accountants and  verified they member has such scale of operations as to afford have\ing such professional services rendered to them

Are there any complains filed with anyone or any lawsuits pending against the member. Does the member provide copies of licenses to ailibaba  or references.

In China a business license can cost $2,500 and require a substanial mid fix figure bank deposit. That alone is comforting to a customer.

In a nutshell ,what does Alibaba do to verify the member deserves premium status.

Does it obtain any informaiton from accredited financial reporting services 

The startegies can be summarized as having the premium status become a nassurance of legitamacy and honorable dealings which assuage any reservations or concerns of customer with respect to dealing internationally ,which implies different laws and standards may prevail that reduces security.

The conclusion should be automatic..."Oh , if they have premium status they must be OK because Alibaba has determined they are or they would not have been granted Premium status. It should be clear from  causal customer observation that a member cannot obtain Premium staus by the mere payment of an enrollemnt fee to Alibaba .
