Make sure you get your samples from the same stock to be shipped. If you do not , the samples may be worthless. A supplier can always send good samples and ship bad stock.

Replying to [kivi]: Is there any way to know how the supplier has picked the samples???????

It cannot be ascertained only from samples that the shipped goods are same quality.

The best way I can suggest is an ONLINE INSPECTION!!!!!!!! The supplier shows around the shipment on a webcam!!! this again cannot ensure that the supplier shall ship the same goods which he has shown, but some articles which are especially made for a particular customer can be done with this way!!!!!!!

Do not mess about.

Get a Chinese Helper to conduct a physical Pre-shipment Inspection.

Such costs as little as $100.

In my book, anybody crazy enough to pay for goods without doing a physical inspection should not be in business.

Replying to [Hastkala]: Have the stock put by your freight forwarder in your suppliers country and have the shipment inspected then and there or if inspection of the product takes expertise not locally available have the freight forwarder ship you random samples taken from several boxes.
