Well, it looks interesting and provides shelter to the car. But how safe is this shelter? Can I rip it open with an ordinary knife? Is it anchored to the ground, or can somebody easily steal it? Could a strong storm blow it away?

So the resumed question is, how useful is it in real life? I guess a prospective customer wants answers to that, and if the reply convinces him, then I could imagine a market for it.

Hello Germex, happy xmas [em1]

I will try to answer your questions,

Can I rip it open with an ordinary knife?, The Garage has a inner linner that is like PVC and protects from UV and dust, patent US design, but the outer shell is made from Aluminum panels or steel, these are light enough as one sections, but when you have 9 sections that are connected on the inside with metal bars the weight of the garage is 800kg and you can not lift the panels,  the panels have wheel runners on the track and these have lock brackets for more protection, so in a word, it's very strong...... and great sercurity for your vehicle.

Is it anchored to the ground, as i said above, the body of the garage is locked to the tracks, and to add, the start of the garage is welded to the track with strong cross bars, the floor tracks are bolted to the floor.

or can somebody easily steal it, the garage is 800kg weight and would be fitted to the ground via the tracks, you can not remove the garage unless you open the garage to gain access to the tracks, and then need 4 men and a stacker truck to lift the garage, the garage also can be fitted with alarm system, but this is more when you have a rear door fitted in the 45mm metal panel, and the door is fitted with a high security lock but can reduce the security a little, so a alarm can be fitted with remote control.

Could a strong storm blow it away, Because of the design, and the weight and how it's fitted there  are no issues with that.

One main factor of the garage is that when you drive you vehicle in a normal garage you find that you have little space to open your doors, and when you have your shopping or children come out your vehicle doors get damaged and you end up with a bad back later!!

with the fold garage,  these issues will not happen!! as you would park your vehicle at the open spot and have all the space to get out of your vehicle, then you would just press the remote fob and the garage would move over your vehicle, when it's completes the run the electric alumiunum roller door would close down and lock in place, your vehicle would be safe and dry and cool in the hot weather!!  [em19]

Hi Strongman, merry Christmas to you, too! [em1]

Well, with this descrip - tion (Alibaba doesn't allow me to write the word correctly) it sounds like a winner to me; at least for European countries. Don't know about sub-urban areas in countries like the US.

Just one last question. As it looks, this garage is relatively narrow, as you don't need all that extra space to be able to open the doors. Most drivers do have the required skills to park their car right in the middle of the open space, but what if somebody is not as skilled and parks it a little too much to one side? Is there a sensor that detects if the moving side wall is about to hit the car? If not, I think it should be included.

Hi germex

There are many sizes to choose from so you can have the right width for your vehicle, you would have lots of space each side of the vehicle as the width is 2500mm across.

When you drive the car towards the garage you have to get about 3 feet of the car in the garage so would have to get the vehicle inline, as there are tracks on the floor you can feel if your tire is on the track, but at the end of the day, if someone as passed their driving test they should be able to get  the car online, don't have to be perfect.

At the front of the garage there are large rubber wheel stops so you can drive the car until you feel the pressure.

When you start the garage if there is any obstructions in front of the garage the system would not move, there are two sensors on each side.

As in UK the common width of a garage door is 7 feet and the fold garage width is over 8 feet, so would be less problems.

The other great safety side, is the material liner inside the garage would be pushed out slighty when folded closed, so if the car did touch the side this would not damage the body of the car.

So we feel the garage has all safety sides to it, and can be used by any person who has passed their driving test, [em19].

Cheers, John

china tea

China is a country with a time-honored civilization and a land of ceremony and decorum. Whenever guests visit, it is necessary to make and serve tea to them. Before serving tea, you may ask them for their preferences as to what kind of tea they fancy and serve them the tea in the most appropriate teacups. In the course of serving tea, the host should take careful note of how much water is remaining in the cups and in the kettle. Usually, if the tea is made in a teacup, boiling water should be added after half of the cup has been consumed; and thus the cup is kept filled so that the tea retains the same bouquet and remains pleasantly warm throughout the entire course of tea-drinking. Snacks, sweets and other dishes may be served at tea time to complement the fragrance of the tea and to allay one's hunger.
