Importing from Jamaica
Post 1 of 1
Many people across the world are aware of the beautiful Caribbean Island, 'Jamaica' and many are not.  So this is Jamaica from a real Jamaican.

Jamaica is the second largest island in the Caribbean.  We are 45 minutes by plane to Florida, USA.  Jamaica's motto "Out of Many, One People" is exactly that.  The colors of the Jamaican flag is a symbol of a country rich in land, wood, water and a diverse people.  It is green beyond imagination, there are mountains and many rivers and springs. Jamaica is surrounded by the Caribbean sea and as such boast the most supreme beaches.  The sun always shines bright in Jamaica, even when it rains.

Reggae music and Bob Marley originated from paradise island Jamaica.  The recent Beijing Olympics highlighted our great athletes. The fastest man on earth is a Jamaican.  However, Jamaica is rich in many other areas.  We have two major shipping ports in Jamaica; Kingston and Montego Bay.   There are two major International  Airports and another one is to be built soon so  it will be easier for travelers to access the Eastern end of the island directly.  The parish of Portland is a much sort after area of the island of Jamaica and this parish is situated at the north eastern end of the island.  There is the National Marlin Tournament that takes place every year in Portland, when Yachts from all over the world come to compete in catching the biggest Marlin. Some refer to East Portland as the next Monte Carlo of the Caribbean.  But Portland, Jamaica is what it is in its own right.  This parish is lush and breathtaking.  It has its own natural harbor.  Jamaica overall has a rich history and is currently at the forefront of development.

Some of the finest quality products are made in Jamaica.  Not only Bob Marley and Reggae music, there is RedStripe Beer which is world reknowned, Lifespan Spring Water, Blue Mountain Coffee, Sandals,  just to name a few.  We have a lot to offer from the island of Jamaica.  Where quality is concerned, Jamaica is the place, and Jamaican is the make.  Seek us out, we have lots to offer.

Until next time...Walk Good.[em1]
