When an economy is in crisis, not all businesses are really in trouble. There are some portions of the economy that is nor affected. Hence, in every country where you live, you have to analyze what sector is not hit. Then go for it.
In sectors badly affected, investment is also worthwhile if you have spare funds as it is very cheap to buy these businesses. Then wait for the economy to rebound back and you hit the jackpot.
It is a matter of fully knowing where you are.

Supply what people require,regardless of economic situation , that is food stuffs, pick every day simple items, either prepare your self or sob comtact the preperation work in downturn many companies are looking for work, this leaves you able to promote and sell chosen product.
