I was hoping to start a thread and meet some other business professioals from around the world.  I read the forum rules, so hopefully this post is not steping on the moderator's toes.  Please feel free to use this thread to introduce yourself and where you are from.  I am sure there are others out there who are also as keen to network as I am in these troubling times. :)

So this is me:

My name is Ryan.  I am a Canadian currently living and working in Shanghai.  I taught English for a few years in Dubai before moving here.  I am currently working in sourcing and logistics, helping to connect foreigners with Chinese for the purpose of trade.
